It's not "the Right" recruiting that's an issue, it's the Nazis recruiting. Which is pretty explicitly what the alt-Right is, with their conventions straight-arm shouting "Heil Trump" and marches alongside Nazi flags.
One can liken the left quite similarly to communism, which killed far more people. Antifa rallies are more numerous & violent than alt right. The left embraces May Day, a Communist holiday, wears Hammer & Sickles...so, sorry, friend, but you are still missing the log in your eye.

Yeah, that's pretty creepy to me, for very much the same reasons that I don't like any other violent group doing this. Not good.
What do you call a group that enforces ideological conformity, hates its opponents, and is willing to shut down debate with violence or the threat thereof? Hint: It's not "anti-fascist".
Pretty sure that one name we've called the *biggest* group of people who used violence to shut down debate with Nazis and fascists was "the Greatest Generation".
