By "source" I hope you mean "the original Greek text", and not just "the Bible". The English translations seem like somewhat degenerate descendants (to the degree it seems untenable to claim God guided the translations). But I'm just a rank amateur here...

Actually, I was thinking of the entirety of the faith. Tradition counts, too, and is essential for understanding context. But mostly I was saying don't take the watered down version but go straight to the wellspring. It's more satisfying.
