      1/ Watching #btc volatility & thinking about current use cases, I finally appreciate why @VitalikButerin says it's important to make a StableCoin. Ppl should be able to store value w/o taking on all this currency risk.

      That´s true in general. But he has to be patient, we too. At the moment the market is trying to get the "true value" of fiat/#btc/#ltc/#eth... ratio. I my opinion this will last at least two more years. in the end we´ll have some stable coins and unstable inflational fiat.

      I'm skeptical that crypto tokens will reach fiat-level stability. Demand (hence price) will fluctuate based on competition between coins. Or put more simply: fiats are tied to national gdp which varies less than the value of a tech startup.
