I honestly don't think the store of value alone is disruptive. I think the whole package that includes fast payment (heh), peer to peer value transfer, and the ability to choose your preferred fiscal policy, etc. is disruptive. Store of value is a side effect of the ledger, IMO.

... and by package, I mean the vision, since "fast" hasn't worked out on the mother blockchain, as of late (hence my "heh"). Other blockchains and related cryptographic distributed ledgers have learned.
