There's selection bias here: you are aware of people yelling loudly on social media, but not of those who disconnected & live quietly
I'm not contrasting tactics, I'm observing that the entire space (incl. most frontierism) is clearly about affiliation, not results.

Those people are excluded from the thesis by definition; the claim is about "the movement of libertarianism", not "being libertarian".
