Just when I thought I’d seen it all, I found someone comparing MTurk to polygamy.
Both involve a higher quantity of different relationships, with lower commitment (compared to full-time employment / monogamy).

And hence both suffer from the ills of transient relationships (exploitation, defection, etc.) Tinder would be a closer analogy.
