what is the strength of that effect relative to baseline (whatever the fuck that means)? what are the confounds and counterfactuals here? people do self-medicate. it's incredibly common for a person suffering through onset of a mental disorder to use substances prior to diagnosis
I have not read the research in enormous detail, however my impression is that it has been studied pretty well, and that long-term use of marijuana increases the risk of these conditions.

kind of a cop out. long term breathing of oxygen increases the risk of death (correlation shows with 100% in a long enough time frame).
