I use more cream than coffee. The fat probably also slows down absorption rate.
Am I the only one that waters down their coffee a lot, so as to spread it out over the first hours of the day (rather than a caffeine bolus), while also rehydrating? (Maybe you can slowly sip from mug, while drinking water from cup, I can't handle 2 vessels).

I double fist strong coffee and ice cold water in the mornings. Alternate sips to wash the coffee down because it’s always a little too strong

An interesting thing is that Brazilians drink their coffee super strong, so this conversation wouldn't even make sense here. They would say 'huh? water down a coffee? Who would even think of doing that?'
