In the game of "Tacky vs. Tasteful", I pick two children's garments, and my daughter has to identify which is Tacky and which Tasteful. Then we briefly discuss the correct answer and reasons.

I think this is a valuable exercise, because visual taste matters and can be taught (it's just patterns, and we're pattern-matching machines). As to whether playing the game audibly in public is Tacky or Tasteful...well, that I'm not so sure about :P.
