40s can be really good. Like, for people who didn't get diet or exercise right before, they are still young enough that they can easily get in the best shape of their lives.

Maybe you were giving yourself the advice all along and slowly started following it, internalizing it, and needing it less.

I wish, but I think it was more like I gave the advice instead of doing the work. Or, I gave advice based on a little testing, but now I don't advise unless I have done lots of testing and am much more sure.
