What about Futarchy, but to replace elections rather than legislation? Ie select govt officials by using prediction markets on their performance. Ideally using objective metrics, but as a fallback just bet on ex post voter satisfaction. @robinhanson

At a certain point we'd love to support futarchy-powered Proxies on @united_vote, for people that are interested in prediction market based governance for our public legislatures.
Fits easily within a liquid democracy. So people familiar & comfortable with futarchy can opt-in for their public representation now, without waiting on convincing everyone else.
Creates a marketplace of prediction-market based representatives, so citizens can choose among different approaches. Instead of having a single canonical implementation. (Similar line of reasoning explored in http://free.liquid.vote )
