Concern by @esrtweet that The Bell Curve's predictions have come true; the stratification of class by ability threatens our society; we will soon see a neo-Victorian rise in servants; and only intelligence-amplification tech can save us: http://esr.ibiblio.org/?p=8085 @charlesmurray

I dunno, you could try things proven to work like actually investing in education, and removing that particular wealth barrier. But then one would have to pay taxes. Biggest class barrier/sort is increasing cost of education.
-
Like any investment in equalizing a non-innate factor, equalizing education will decrease the correlation of success with wealth, which *increases* the correlation of success with innate ability and genetics. It's mathematically tautological from the definition of causation.
-
Imagine success is a combination of factors: innate ability, opportunity (ie family wealth, influence), and pure luck. If you decrease variance in any of these (say, equalize opportunity or eliminate luck), then by definition the correlation of ability and success increases.
-
We are so far from that point that attempts to fix the population genetics are pure wankery. Anything but admit that the doors of opportunity aren't fully open. If there's insufficient genetic mixing (which I don't admit) then wealth-stratified education contributes to the lack.
