I want envy to be rare, also. However, I'm not sure Musk is the best poster child for this. I have a coworker who was an early SpaceX employee. His take: Musk is a bad engineer and manager, but a great salesman.

Might he also be a good idea guy? His products are rather unique. Tesla S exhilarating & futuristic. The jumping rockets brilliant. They engineers that work for him almost all worked somewhere else first, yet we see these ideas here alone. That must be due to more than sales
