You're totally welcome to express your opinion about private property after reading that 50-page paper while staying out of my (large and populous) mute bucket. Or you can go into the mute bucket. Or you can keep your opinion to yourself. Three nice options!
Now I want to read the whole book. The ideas in that chapter are not bad. And would be facilitated by having more assets tokenized. But there have to be better assets to self-assess than real estate, where cost of transfer (moving) are so high.
Yes, they spent most of that chapter on real-estate and real-estate-like things, but that seems like one of the hardest to migrate and one with some of the worst attendant problems. They do briefly mention other kinds of property being a better starting point.
Two that they mention—and I totally agree—are domain names and radio spectrum. And, I'd like to generalize: all sorts of new virtual property! Cryptokitties, decentraland, etc. Exciting!
