At issue is the two clerks telling residents they can vote absentee without showing photo ID if they are unable to provide it because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The commission is split 3-3 between Republicans and Democrats. It’s hard to see the commission launching investigations given that.
Separately, has asked the state Supreme Court to stop the clerks. No word yet on whether the court will take up the issue.

If they are "indefinitely confined" to home because of this dangerous physical illness (or age/disability/infirmity)... that's an exception in state law to providing ID.
