@stripe could do the responsible thing and move their offices to a different city or allow working remotely. Trust me, there's plenty of techies who would love to work in a place where they can actually afford a house. -
I'm a Stripe employee based in our SF office. We do allow remote work and we have offices in many cities around the world and across the US for alternatives to working from San Francisco. There are folks like me who like SF too much to live or work elsewhere though.

Ok, you move out then. Stripe is part of the ECONOMY, not the problem. They're donating to an organization trying to build housing in line with economic growth. Economic trajectories don't change because you feel it's "laughable".
