i’d argue that apple has been weighed down by their strong public stance on privacy which has hindered the development of siri. s/w eng have to go through privacy ‘czars’ for any new features.

Sorry but Google Assistant is *miles* ahead in every measure (based on my personal tests of having both devices in the household). I constantly ask both assistants the same questions and GA it's laughable how behind Siri is.
