      @Lletnek Took a quick look: the charge is USD and your bank account is GBP -- that's why the conversion fee was charged.

      @patrickc yep, but why don’t I get charged when I issue an invoice in GBP, to an American client, who is sourcing the payment with USD?

      @Lletnek Ah -- because in that case the customer's bank charges the conversion fee. (So effectively the customer incurs the cost.)

      @patrickc that’s not been my experience, when I’ve invoiced US client in GBP, I pay Stripe fees, and receive GBP with no fee at bank

          @patrickc ah hah! Gotcha. So by invoicing in US dollars, I take the fee, but if I invoice in GBP, they get the fee. Ok makes sense
