Was hunting for a better read-later app for years. Have now been using Omnivore.app for the past few months. Verdict: it’s really excellent, and improving rapidly.
(Yes, there’s a waitlist, but invites come quickly.)

It’s great but a different use-case. Omnivore is just a place for you to store (and later read) things.
