How about this chart? Just the deltas.pic.twitter.com/6vvk1YDbtV
More broadly, crazy to me that news articles covering the outbreak don’t feature more and more useful charts. Where present, incredibly basic/superficial. No insight.
Can I see this in non-logarithmic scale please?
Created this to show how a logarithmic scale may be misleading by showing a false plateau. Not saying that @patrickc doesn't know that, he sure knows better than me, but just in case some shares the graph without knowing.https://twitter.com/gr33ndata/status/1235893660455141379 …
The creator of this chart should deep dive into data visualization and figure out how to make a better one.
Basically, it matters hugely whether the virus is contained in a similar fashion as it was in China, or if it is uncontained like it was in SK?
It’s not contained in China, they’re importing cases like everyone else now. Also, China is probably juking the stats.
Chart is confusing, but I'm guessing the interpretation is that there's up to 2 orders of magnitude difference in volume of cases at 100 days, depending on how which model you base your predictions on. The US could have 10k or 10M cases at 100 days.
10K or 1M
Thank god im not the only person in the comments who is having trouble deciphering this chart
