        We unfortunately have a much tougher route to build than France’s original line. Though that doesn’t excuse the massive mistakes that have occurred.

        It’s an old train. They could probably still use it (electric motors are marvelous like that), but there have been major engineering advances since the original TGV trains that make this basically obsolete. Modern sets are faster!
