I wonder how much of an unacknowledged problem it is that most newly-built homes and apartments are so ugly. Would people protest all new development if it was going to be truly beautiful?

Western soma, in the core of city, walkable to downtown, Bart, new central soma business district and close to freeway, is zoned for 6 stories. That’s a big problem. Leave green space alone so we can get out of zoo sometimes
