had the same experience with uber / jumpbikes imho: in the end the local fleets will be a commodity and the value will be in owning this user interface/connection for multi-modal transport there are only few players: uber, google (maps), citymapper

I'm out in the sticks and will likely never get bike rentals, but I certainly hope we start improving infrastructure by replacing cars containing single passengers with e-bikes / scooters

Dockless is great. In Seattle though I found the number of broken/unresponsive bikes littering the street made usage pretty spotty

Unfortunate to see and done without reason. The scooters litter sidewalks and deny pedestrians /


any reasonable expectation of access. The bikes were actually useful and provided some exercise too.
