Imagine when you can *measure* it from your phone, though! https://ehp.niehs.nih.gov/doi/10.1289/ehp.1510037 …pic.twitter.com/noLvNSzA3f

@CJHandmer and I are house hunting in LA and have to take this into consideration... Apps like@Redfin have no air quality filter which would be really nice -
@aclima is working on it! We’ll soon be serving over 8-million people in the Bay Area with more to come! - 1 more reply

I saw a thread on HN about indoor air quality and that mental fuzziness that can occur during meetings, and it inspired me to get a CO2 monitor. Indoor CO2 levels are routinely above 1,500 ppm, and sometimes above 2,500 ppm. Astoundingly high and I had no idea.

In the meanwhile, our startup is placing off the shelf air quality sensors in schools and multifamily residential buildings. The ventilation and/or filtration systems of these schools should upgraded, along with upgrades of the fossil fuel guzzling building energy systems!!

I actually dove into this the other day after being surprised by this as well, and came to the conclusion electric vehicles could reduce about 2/3s of PM2.5 emissions, which are the most dangerous type. Non-exhaust emissions are most of the PM10 thoughhttps://twitter.com/BrianTHeligman/status/1148993215116259336 …

I'm thinking it'll be on an Apple Watch faster than a phone

Probably more useful too since phones spend a lot of time in pockets or bags. Not to mention wrapped in cases. A network or wearable AQ meters would be great though.
