You’re somewhat correct in the sense that we wanted more privacy and ended up being frustrated by bad implementations (cookie cutter solutions) and at the end accepting all f**n terms of service they’re throwing at us

The site only has to put them up if they collect, share, uses personally data they have no OTHER legal basis for, than consent. It is the sites that is the problem, not the legislation
