For all the talk of getting up everyday with little-to-no sleep and getting to work on her very specific typewriters, I’m pretty sure steps 1-100 mainly involve staying off of Twitter.

Is this a typo? I don't understand how it's physically possible for more than about one day in a row.pic.twitter.com/SgoyY4OfR4

It’s not. Even true 80hr weeks have impossible longevity. It’s basically 12hr days seven days straight so never a day off working 12hr days in perpetuity or if you want a weekend off you’re doing 8am-midnight M-F. People who claim above 80 are mostly liars.

I was also reminded of Isabel Allende's book 'Paula' where in one of the autobiographical sections she recounts how she wrote 'The House of the Spirits' at night, in her kitchen, as a single mom, kids apseep - with the S (IIRC) missing from the typewriter (had to be added by pen)
-
(The S is important because it's a 700 page long novel in *Spanish*)

> “To pull it off, she works 20 to 22 hours a day.” what? how is this not either fact checked or a bigger deal?
