bio is a shitshow, a list of random qs means little. need an evolutionary fwd timeline where there have been inflection points - eg urey-miller, photosynthesis, eukaryogenesis, multicellularism, transition to land.. - which would be the core open qs that all others dependent on!

Not sure about the other fields, but the one on neuroscience is a bit off. Some items are too broad (i.e. we know things about parts of what is being asked) or stated such that existing knowledge wouldn't really qualify as an answer. Also missing many problems, but that's a given
