People who get “high paying engineering jobs” are people who choose to major in engineering, period. To insinuate it’s based on race (white, Asian) is ludicrous. I stopped reading after that paragraph because such a statement discredits the integrity of the writer.

People who get VC funding ARE disproportionately male and white. There is inherent racism and sexism in job searches and funding. Despite the variables in comparing male & female founders, that women received only 2.2% of all VC funding last year is problematic.

I would have one question for him. "How diverse is his team?" It is impossible to participate in solving inequality if you fail to have a cross section of those who suffer the inequality at the table.
