I mean, yeah, I definitely wouldn't want random ppl's tweets forcibly inserted into my book reading experience! But that's a far cry from having the option to read annotations from friends you like and respect, right?

Right — that’s partly why I suggested paying more for annotated books in original tweet. Could conceivably share with annotators and still have more left over for author than would be the case with a normal book...
