We focus on insurance, Allegheny, energy, and other unique elements that make Berkshire impossible to copy

This is probably the first time BRK and Kardashians were mentioned in the same sentence.

Loved the discussion about discipline in writing premium. Jack Byrne used to say, “there are times when the smartest thing you can do is pay your underwriters to go play golf”.

One of the very first things Chris said is that float is a "net liability," which broke my understanding. I thought it was a liability, but also an asset, so a net 0 on BS. Not sure what I'm missing, but certain that Chris gets this much better than I can.

Is it weird I find this cathartic, like I’m on a run rn having a blast listening to Chris
“The notion we’re gonna have all these trucks driving around w/o drivers - maybe - but isn’t that what a train 🚂 is?”
….should we just subsidize a lattice of new tracks instead?
Omg 😂 😭
