    Interesting read, but a dereliction with the way place was situated. Mischaracterizations like these "other" people: That Boone, NC's economy hasn't recovered from its pre-Civil War height That schools in Appalachia don't teach ethics That Apex, NC is a "railroad town"

    If you read one thing that I've written or will write, I hope you'll make it this piece on my experience teaching ethics at . We can learn to dialogue across difference. Huge thanks to my brilliant, thoughtful students for sharing their views.
