It’s easy to underappreciate how much value is created by boring CRUD apps. Every phone call to a CSR costs $7*; we probably avoided 25 after the recent move by doing data entry ourselves. Also saved hours on the phone. * Long ago stat from my days at a call center.

ahh ok, ty. Your tweet makes sense now. Definitely utilized a couple of those apps in the 5k calls/wk call center I previ worked in. The 1st one we used reqd agents to manually lookup on-calls. Once we replaced it with an app that did that automatically, volume per agent went up
