I'm driven bonkers by Compliance (TM) interpretations where "Look you know this is stupid and we know this is stupid but *shrug* Compliance." Example: Steam. I've paid them thousands of dollars for video games for 15+ years now. But they won't save my age because I might be 13.

why not ask once and store a boolean so you only re-prompt for DOB if minor == true on request for age-sensitive titles? copper only prevents storing of PII, not identification of minor status, right?

Stupid q, but why is this not a problem with other platforms? E.g. Twitter happily shows me boob spam etc

Because twitter doesn’t let you have an account if you are under 13. Steam doesn’t want to have that restriction I think
