Tradeoffs abound: You could always pitch clients in the same segment, at the same level of sophistication, asking for the usual engagement. If you do that, you're trading off certainty for constraining opportunities to grow practice / rate / etc.

By "close rate" are you talking about percentage of inbound leads that you close, or percentage of projects you pitch that you close? Because if the second, then your "lead count" should be way lower than generalists but your close rate should be *way* higher than small percent.
