Someone should apply to YC with a pitch of just “we’re going to write the world’s best security-focused documentation for AWS and charge people a monthly fee to access it”. YC would be crazy not to accept them.

I've hit up brand name VCs with that argument before ("our product improves the productivity of all your portfolio companies!"), and they still fell back on "no stanford? only recommended by sam, but didn't actually do YC? only 100,000 users? not a billion dollar business. pass."

Yeah, I’d pitch it to YC, I wouldn’t pitch it to VCs. (I give YC a lot of shit but really I wouldn’t pitch anything to VCs without doing YC.)
