Among the best promotional displays I've ever seen, the local convenience store was selling this (relevantly, in Japan), next to Mother's Day chocolates/flowers (which are advertised well in advance). "Bored of flowers/chocolates every year? Get her an experience like..."

It seems that the more natural transition would be hubby doing the cleaning. Also doing a good job and not stealing anything. Then both agree to outsource a shared task. That’s how non-patriarchal homes work
