That isn’t me even having schadenfreude that is just the capitalist in me having aesthetic distaste for crying in capitalism. There’s a way to lock in labor cheap in future years. We call it “employment.” It is a very easy technology to execute on.

If you choose to have high-resolution labor costs because you want to capture the efficiency gains of never having idle workers and never having a mismatch in apprentices and experts then you don’t get to complain about spot prices for experts during boom times.
