We had our internal hackathon today, and it was a little awe-inspiring how much so many people got done in a day. (My project? An anti-fraud thing. I started the day not knowing what a linear regression was and ended it cackling madly. No specifics for the usual reasons.)

LOL. A CISO from a Manhattan bank mentioned to me they had a subscription to a Russian hacker magazine that featured glossy spreads of guys looking like Middle Earth dwarves showing off their Lamborghinis and supermodel wives. Why? <pointing> “Him. That guy stole $35M from us.”
