Fairly frequently question I get asked about pricing: "You always say Charge More, but I'm doing this thing that I feel needs to exist in the world for a group of people who have little money." My advice: Separate running a business and your charitable impulses.

Most plans I hear of this nature are improved by "Run a B2B SaaS company and charge market-appropriate rates then run your charitable software business as a side project and subsidize it straight down to free."

Or wait until AppAmaGooBookSoft do this for you, because they've also decided that businesses should pay billions of dollars for their software and consumers should get it for as close to zero as they can manage
