In all seriousness though, I'm pretty sure my market clearing price is lower in Vancouver than in SF (and that's non-negotiable), and even if Google paid the most I'm not remotely convinced that working for them would be maximally fulfilling.

I wasn't thinking fulfilling so much as I was that if you applied your expertise in salary negotiation commercially rather than merely tweeting, it would pay you a lot more and/or afford you more opportunities to exercise your values which are not denominated in dollars. ;-)
