I've (historically) agreed with this perspective.
But @thanhtpham has got me thinking more about how costs affect about profit.

(Purpose of comment is 10% for your benefit and 90% for the benefit of other bootstrappers who still budget like they were a salaried employee where top line is fixed and bottom line is *only* sensitive to expense minimization.)
