Yep but this time there isn’t teacher sitting over your shoulder imposing a deadline, there is just the manifest likelihood that self-arranging to do work is compatible with your incentives. Which doesn’t not sound like BigCo management, right?

having interviewed for AmaGooBookSoft recently i’ve come to regard the traditional “Cracking the Coding Interview” style as a hoop jump. None of my other interviews expected this; yet you couldn’t really get into advanced algos in just 45 mins. Its just a strange rite of passage.
