Crazy thing about crypto currency problems are that they’re not the problems the system is supposed to solve... like cheap electricity and cooling is a vulnerability (to public block chains) and “humans doing weird shit for no reason at scale” is another.

So it’s sort of brilliant, given that cryptocurrency enthusiasm selects for inability to resist certain memetic attacks, so you just pick the most ludicrously effective historical variant of that attack then crypto-ify it.
