As I've often mentioned, Bank of America has caught 27 of the last 0 fraudulent attempts to use my card from Japan (despite multiple notes on the account and the primary address being in Japan), so that might actually help me quite a bit.

The "I love admin screens let me count the ways" engineer in me thinks that it's likely an actual note genuinely affixed to the right record, but since it's unstructured data, not used as a signal for automated processes.
