The best part of the Tether announcement is the suuuuuper serious warning that Tethers emanating from a certain address can't be redeemed for USD. Yeah, as if Tethers from *any* address can be redeemed for USD.

The last time I felt this kind of fatigue was back in 2008. The stakes are smaller than the housing crisis, but the silliness is an order of magnitude greater.

I seriously either want to write a book on this... but complicated as I would rather be in the book as Mr. Crankypants Get Off My Lawn who held deep out-of-the-money puts on everything when the music stopped.
