What is the difference of availability? I’ve had checking accounts at 3 JPN domestic banks, so unaware of what I’m missing.

People who are in Japan for less than a year largely can’t get bank accounts so paying by 振込 is presently almost impossible for them.

Foreigners who happen to be Japanese medium or long-term residents, on the other hand, don’t have impossible difficulty getting accounts.
