A blog is a collection of blog posts with no end date attached to it; as this is an unbounded commitment, it is surprisingly hard to start.

What to make your three articles about? Good stories. A problem, an investigation, a resolution. Include a bit of code; not too much.

In my personal experience the best stories qua stories start with a very high-level business goal and then go Arbitrarily Deep down stack.

I think it affects your approach; if you see the blog itself as the product you're creating, your output is different than when you are focused on creating great, standalone, timeless pieces of content.
