The field feels like these results generalize to non-undergrad humans in organic scenarios, but this doesn't have the ring of truth to me.
In particular, I think a lot of people are bad at reasoning like a member of Math Team but have alternative processes that get them closer.
When I used to do these studies, it wasn't hard to tell whether the "other person" was a real participant, and act accordingly.
