I find it very easy to ignore mail delivered to the wrong country. In fact, I find it impossible to *not* ignore it...

I have nightmares about this. What do we expats have to do to make sure that we don't mistakenly get summoned for jury duty?

I don't know if there is anything official that would stop it but maybe send a letter to clerk of the court in your (last) county.

Avoided this problem by issuing an official change of address to my parents' residence. The courts seem to be aware of those somehow.

To the point that after seven years in NY, changed address to NJ, got a summons there despite having previously told NJ courts I was in NY.
