If the gig economy works out to be McDonalds/Walmart level wages attached to flexible schedules that would be a very far thing from nothing.

I think it's unlikely to shift away from option B. Suspect schedules will be 'flexible' but only flexible for employer

Also, more common case is people want 40hrs, can only get ~30 to dodge fulltime reqs so they work 3 part time jobs
